Here is the worksheet for Lesson 1.2.1
1.) Start Notes (Targets and Vocab)
Please watch this video and start your notes. Include the targets and even the vocab in your notes. |
2.) Opening Exercise: Find the missing angles
Look at the 3 diagrams to the right. Sketch them into your notes (the angles do not have to be exact in your notes). Use what you learned in middle school and so far this year in Geometry to find the missing angle measures. DO NOT USE A PROTRACTOR (the angles are not to scale) |
3.) Video: Opening Exercise explained
Watch this video to get some more explanation about the opener and to see if you got the right answers. |
3.) Video: Angle Conjectures (Reasons)
Watch this video and copy the notes that I have written down. I will be introducing and explaining some angle conjectures which we will use throughout this lesson and this course as our reasons for finding missing angles. |
5.) Video: Activity 1 Answers
Don't watch this video until you have attempted activity 1 on your own. Then watch this video to see how you did :). Make corrections in your notes as needed. |
7.) Video: Double Check your Answers
Here I am doing the three practice problems from above. Please make sure to watch this video to make sure you are ready for the exit tickets. |
